MagNets description

MagNets Game Description

MagNets is an exciting arcade-style robot-recycling collect-em-up that invites players to dive into the chaotic world of Polarity City. Players take on the role of a hero tasked with restoring order by capturing rogue Bloxbots using Electromagnetic Nets, affectionately known as 'MagNets'. The captured Bloxbots can be recycled into useful tools and power-ups to aid in overcoming the various challenges presented in each level.

The game features compulsive and fast-paced gameplay, offering three difficulty levels: Medium, Hard, and Impossible. It includes a single-player campaign with 20 levels spread across four unique zones. For those looking for a competitive edge, MagNets also supports local two-player PvP battles. A child-friendly casual mode is included for younger gamers, providing extra health and eliminating high scores.

Character unlocks add an element of progression, while the game is optimized for controller play, ensuring a smooth gaming experience. Developed by Total Monkery, a family-run studio from Devon, England, MagNets showcases the talents of an excellent team, featuring concept art by Phil Corbett and music composed by award-winning musician Jamie Hamshere.
