Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee® description
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Released on December 12, 1997, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is a captivating adventure platformer that follows the journey of Abe, a floor-waxer at RuptureFarms. Fate intervenes when Abe overhears a sinister plan by his boss, Molluck the Glukkon, to turn him and his fellow Mudokons into delicious snacks to save his faltering meat-packing business. This revelation propels Abe into a perilous quest for survival.
Throughout his escape, Abe experiences a vision from the enigmatic Big Face, guiding him not only to save his Mudokon kin, but also to shield all creatures of Oddworld from the malicious Magog Cartel. He must navigate challenging Temple trials and traverse a desolate wasteland alongside his companion, Elum.
Abe eventually gains the extraordinary power of Shrykull, which he uses to confront the horrors of RuptureFarms. In an epic confrontation, he dismantles this wicked slaughterhouse, rescues his friends, and delivers justice to Molluck. Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee blends puzzle-solving, exploration, and humor in a narrative-rich experience that resonates with players.
