Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque
Fursan al-Aqsa: The Knights of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is an engaging third-person action game that puts players in the shoes of Ahmad al-Falastini, a young Palestinian student. After enduring five years of unjust imprisonment, where he faced torture at the hands of Israeli soldiers, Ahmad emerges fueled by vengeance following the tragic loss of his family in an Israeli airstrike. He joins the Fursan al-Aqsa resistance movement to confront those responsible for the injustice and reclaim his homeland.
Developed since 2017 by Nidal Nijm, an independent developer utilizing a customized version of the Unreal Engine, the game combines cutting-edge 3D graphics with classic shooter mechanics. Players navigate diverse missions across land, sea, and air, battling formidable bosses, utilizing a variety of weapons, and engaging in high-octane gameplay. Through its narrative, Fursan al-Aqsa seeks to shift perspectives on the Israel-Palestine conflict, presenting a story that highlights the Palestinian side of the history often overlooked in mainstream media.
