R-COIL Game Description

In R-COIL, a catastrophic malfunction of your experimental R-COIL engine has thrown you into a chaotic reality filled with hostile creatures. Stranded and under attack, your main thruster and weapons systems are fused together, leaving your stabilizer offline. You cannot fire without moving, posing a critical challenge as you navigate this treacherous environment.

This retro-style multi-directional shooter features a unique single-button control scheme. Use the joystick to aim while tapping the button to fire. Holding the button engages thrust, with each shot pushing you back slightly—forcing you to deftly balance firing and thrusting to maintain control. Master this mechanic, and you’ll be soaring through the cosmos like an expert pilot.

However, beware! The cosmos teems with perilous foes, including shielded saucers, laser towers, and relentless buzz-saws. If it’s not a rock, it’s likely a threat you’ll need to neutralize. R-COIL offers Single Player, Local Co-op, and Duel modes, alongside a Stress Free Mode for relaxed shooting. With countless enemies and a wealth of power-ups, the challenge never ends, accompanied by a unique soundtrack from the aptly named Rainbow Kitten.
