Your goal is simple to state and difficult to achieve: win, survive, and ultimately break the Cycle. Every attempt pushes you deeper into a mysterious structure that tests skill, planning, and nerve.

Three Tiers of the Cycle

The Cycle is divided into three tiers: Human, Earth, and Heaven. You cannot shatter the Cycle in one leap; you must break through tier by tier. Each tier has its own rules and breakthrough conditions, guided (and guarded) by the enigmatic Zodiac Dragons.

Zodiac Games: 12 Challenges, 12 Meanings

Each Zodiac is not just a symbol—it represents a distinct game type with its own hidden meaning. Some meanings are deceptive, and some game types may not be what they seem. Together, they form a web of clues tied to the Cycle’s secrets:

Special Time: When the Clock Turns

When the historical clock aligns with a Zodiac, a Twelve-Hour strike triggers Special Time. At this moment, that Zodiac’s challenge can transform dramatically—not only in difficulty, but in gameplay rules themselves. Entering unprepared can be disastrous, but defeating a Zodiac during Special Time grants substantial item rewards that can make later breakthroughs more achievable.

Items That Change the Rules

Rewards are more than power-ups; they affect the structure of your run. Human Tier items are temporary aids. Earth Tier rewards can convert those temporary items into permanent ones, helping prevent losses when the Cycle resets. Heaven Tier rewards can help you clear SAN value, and you may also gain additional benefits such as Population, Stars, and Avoidance Chance.

Failure Restarts the Cycle—But Progress Can Persist

An accident can restart the Cycle and wipe most run data, but defeat is not the end. You can choose to enter the next Cycle strategically, using the permanent item system to steadily build toward a true breakthrough. As the Heaven-Dragon whispers, the path is long—will you escape, or confront the challenge and break the Cycle?
