Fear Equation description
Fear Equation
Fear Equation is a unique blend of horror and strategy, set in a world shrouded in a sinister fog that manifests the deepest nightmares of those who enter it. As The Engineer, you command a specially modified freight train, tasked with rescuing survivors from this nightmarish landscape. With up to 150 passengers to manage, your role involves not just transportation, but also strategic planning and resource management to ensure their survival.
The game is turn-based with rogue-like elements, where every session provides a fresh experience. Passengers will form factions based on their theories about the origin of the fog, each bringing their own fears, skills, and needs to the train. To thrive, you'll need to build defenses, retrieve essential resources by sending passengers back into the fog, and analyze their dream logs to prepare for the lurking dangers. Each decision you make plays a crucial role in shaping the outcome of your journey.
With extensive customization options for both The Engineer and the passengers, including the ability to import photos, Fear Equation creates a deeply immersive environment. Navigate through a detailed 3D cabin to interact with various controls while facing not only nightmarish visions but also potential threats from others, like the cult-like "Fearless" and military factions. Can you lead your train to salvation, or will it succumb to the fog?
